Melbourne, Victoria: Next Gen ET Group Pty Ltd formally announces the appointment of Mr. Andrew Cooper as the new Chief Executive Officer effective 12 June 2024.
An experienced business leader, Andrew Cooper will be based in South Australia and succeeds the co-founder Mr. Yong Wu.
Andrew has a long and distinguished career in technology and services, spending many years offshore as Country Director for major subsidiaries. Andrew relocated back to his birthplace in Adelaide in 2016 and was appointed as Director, Future Industries & Advanced Manufacturing with the State Government of South Australia with focus on inbound business investment.
Andrew possesses an exceptional background in strategic planning and business management. He has worked in the APAC region as a major supplier to PNG LNG, Harmony Gold, Newcrest Mining as well as delivering international development projects on behalf of the Australian Government. He has secured funding for world first research & development projects using a triple helix approach combining Government funding, Australian research institutes and Industry partners.
